How to Make the Subscribe Button on YouTube Look Different

Branding and customizing your YouTube channel is one of the ways you can encourage users to subscribe. However, if you want to access advanced customization menus for your YouTube channel, such as changing the "Subscribe" button, you must become a YouTube partner. You can apply and be approved for YouTube partnership if your channel meets the required criteria, such as a large audience and high quality videos. Use the Video Page Branding utility in your YouTube partner account to upload a customized banner to change the subscribe button.

Log in to your YouTube account, and then click on your YouTube username at the upper right corner of the window.

Click "My Channel" from the drop-down list, and then click the "Branding Options" tab.

Click the "Video Page Branding" tab, and then click the "Browse" button to the right of Video Page Banner.

Navigate to the banner image on your computer you want to use and click "Open." The name of the file populates the Video Page Banner text box.

Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom right corner of the window.
